    We at Innovationstarter.ch (operated by Designatelier GmbH) take the protection of your personal data seriously. It is important to us that you know what data we collect and what data we use. The following measures ensure that the legal regulations on data protection are complied with.
    This data protection declaration informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data within our online offer (www.Innovationstarter.ch) and the functions and content associated with it (hereinafter collectively referred to as "online offer" or "website"). On the Website, individuals and companies can present and manage ideas and projects.

    We process personal data of all participants of the Innovationstarter.ch, namely all persons who register on Innovationstarter.ch. Furthermore we process the data of the visitors of the website www.innovationstarter.ch.     • Contact details (master data) provided during registration, including at least first name, last name, gender, email address, as well as information about companies and means of payment.

    Users can present ideas on the platform of the website www.innovationstarter.ch. These ideas can be supported in various ways by third parties. From these supporters, we process the data provided during registration, such as first name, last name, address, gender, e-mail address, as well as information about the corresponding means of payment.
    When visiting our website www.innovationstarter.ch, we process technical usage data, including information about the date and time of the website visit, the pages visited, IP address, device identifier and type, language settings, information about data usage and storage, content uploaded to the website, information about the operating system and browser used by the user's device, information about the use of cookies can be found below.

    Innovationstarter.ch processes personal data for the following purposes:

    •  For the execution of the contract, and the provision of crowdfunding services;
    •  To provide project information (newsletters, messages by e-mail), unless the user declines to receive such information;
    •  Provision of an online profile;
    •  Analysis of technical usage data on an anonymous and aggregated basis for the ongoing optimisation of the website.

    1.4 Online idea presentations

    Ideas can be presented at www.innovationstarter.ch. These are ideas for innovation projects of companies. Submissions can only be made with an active login. When an idea is published on our website, details of the initiator, such as surname and first name, are also disclosed.

    1.5 Recipients of data

    • We do not disclose personal data disclosed to us to third parties for their own use.
    • Service providers (e.g. for IT solutions) may, under certain circumstances, process personal data on behalf of Designatelier GmbH. They are contractually obliged to comply with the currently applicable data protection legislation and to maintain secrecy and confidentiality. They may only process the data for predetermined purposes, i.e. not for their own purposes. Personal data will only be passed on to recipients abroad if they are subject to appropriate data protection legislation. If data is transferred to a service provider in a country without adequate data protection, adequate data protection is ensured by contractual guarantees or, exceptionally, based on your consent.     1.6 Storage period

    • Master data: until the profile has been deleted by you, at the earliest 12 months after the last successful login to Innovationstarter.ch.
    • Payment details: at the earliest 12 months after the conclusion of a crowdfunding.
    • We store details from the online profile and the associated technical data as long as the user does not wish to have their profile deleted. A request to delete the profile can be sent to innvoationstarter@designatelier.ch.

    1.7 Cookies

    Cookies are small files that are stored on your device (PC, smartphone, etc.) when you access a website. They provide information about the use of websites or apps.
    The visitor data collected in this way is pseudonymised and not stored together with other personal data.
    You can determine the use of cookies yourself by means of browser settings. Depending on the setting, the use of certain Internet pages may be restricted.

    1.7.1 Performance cookies

    Performance cookies collect information about how, when and how often users move around our website. This helps us to better understand user behaviour and thereby improve the user experience.

    Google Analytics

    We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how you use the website. Among other things, it provides us with information about the number of visits, the length of time spent on the site and the content viewed, thereby allowing us to continuously improve our website.     1.7.2 Social-Media Cookie

    AddThis

    We use plugins on our website from the AddThis service, which is operated by Oracle Corporation, 2300 Oracle Way, Austin, TX 78741, USA ("AddThis"). The service offers tools for linking or forwarding content. Using the AddThis buttons, you can share our content on various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter or other channels. When you use an AddThis plugin, your internet browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of AddThis and the selected social network. If you share content from our website with social networks via the AddThis plugin, a connection can be established between your visit to the website and your user profile with the corresponding social network. The data generated in this process (such as Internet Protocol address, mobile advertising ID, mobile application ID, browser type, browser language, type of operating system and time of use at which users visit a website or use the toolbar) is transmitted to Oracle Corporation in the USA and processed there.

    1.8 Social Plugins

    Innovationstarter.ch uses social plugins ("plugins") from various social networks.
    When you visit a website that contains plugins, the browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective social network. The content of the plugins is transmitted directly to the browser by the respective social network and integrated into the website by the browser. By integrating the plugins, the social network receives the information that the device used by the user has accessed the website.
    If you are logged into the respective social network, your visit to our website is assigned to your account on the respective social network.     We do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data or its use by the respective social network.

    2 Data security

    We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. These measures are based on international standards and are regularly reviewed accordingly and adjusted if necessary.

     

    3 Communication via e-mail

    When communicating via e-mail, please note that this is generally not encrypted. Data can be intercepted and manipulated by third parties or lost. We do take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent this within Designatelier GmbH. However, your end device (computer, smartphone, etc.) as well as your e-mail provider are outside the security area that we can control. It is your responsibility as a user of the Internet to inform yourself about the necessary security precautions and to take appropriate measures (e.g. up-to-date virus protection etc.). If you communicate with us via e-mail, you are aware of the risks associated with this means of communication.
    E-mails that we send automatically during the registration process cannot be used to contact us. To contact us, you must use the address innovationstarter@designatelier.ch.

    Right to information: You have the right to obtain information about your personal data that has been processed. You can submit your request for information in writing and enclose a copy of your identity card or passport to the address listed under "Contact".

    Right to rectification: Designatelier GmbH endeavours to keep your data as up-to-date and correct as possible. Should we nevertheless have stored incorrect personal data about you, we will be happy to correct this at your request.
    Right to deletion: You have the right to have your personal data deleted if it is not or is no longer necessary for the performance of our services, is not processed on a legal basis (e.g. obligation to retain data) or is processed without there being a legitimate interest on the part of Designatelier GmbH.
